Change Management

Change Management - in the context of SAP systems support, is to provide effective and efficient deployment of documented system changes reflecting changes in external processes, such as changes in legislation, optimization and changes in business processes, activities to integrate or reflect business initiatives. In addition, the concept of change management includes also the audit of the need for and feasibility of any change in the system, and the management of potential risks, in the consequence of the changes.

In general, the change management process is based on the provision of the following closed-chain of processes in accordance with SAP ALM (application lifecycle management):

3. Determination of requirements
4. Development of solutions
5. Solution Implementation and Testing
6. Put into service

SAP systems change management as a service is provided within a functional support service via an online application processing system and has the following structure:

  • Document engineering of the change management process based on the incoming customer requests with prior approval of the customer solution options and working hours of the subsequent implementation of solutions
  • Deployment of the solution, according to the concept of business continuity in the system design and pre-testing with subsequent transfer of the changes in test system for testing solutions by business users
  • preparation of a training manual and user training
  • support of the pilot input and subsequent operation of the solution in a production system
