Deler NF & BI LLC is the Russian division of the Deler Group (Germany), a global manufacturer and supplier of ingredients for the production of food and beverages. The product range includes: flavors, dyes, cereals, dairy, specialty, fruit and vegetable, healthy and nutritious ingredients.

Together with German colleagues from the central office, ALPE consulting is launching a project to transfer Russian data from the global SAP ERP system located in Germany to a local one on the territory of the Russian Federation.

As part of the localization project, work will be carried out to cut out all data and settings related to the Russian business from the global system, and a productive SAP landscape will be prepared and deployed at Russian facilities for subsequent downloading of Russian data.

In addition, it is planned to restore locally all systems such as Development and Quality, which are currently used at the head office, so that after localization the landscape remains the same.

Based on our previous work experience, we include a Dry Run stage in the project, i.e. a test run of the download, which allows us to calculate the time for the final, productive run as accurately as possible, which in turn minimizes the risks of business shutdown at the time of transition to a new system. The expected downtime at the time of launch is 30 hours, during which the coordinated actions of the three teams should ensure a smooth transition to a new, local system.

Simultaneously with these works, Deler turned to us for help with updating the functionality of electronic legally significant document management in accordance with the new 970th order of the Federal Tax Service in the SAP ERP environment, during which it is planned to update the integration solution in the global system with the replacement of standard xml transformations customized and adapted to new legal requirements.
